Trevassa is a delightful stone built cottage set below St Boniface Downs in the picturesque village of Bonchurch. There are costal and downland walks within minutes of the cottage – the beach is about a 20 minute walk away – or a few minutes in the car. The village itself has a restaurant and pub within walking distance of the cottage. Bonchurch beach has a restaurant serving lunches and ice creams.

The town of Ventnor is about 20 minutes walk (downhill!) from the cottage – or a very short bus ride away. Ventnor has all the facilities including supermarket, post office and hardware store. There are also numerous restaurants and pubs on one main high street leading down to the sea. The seafront itself has beach huts to be hired, a fish mongers with Ventnor Crab always available and more restaurants and pubs with great sea views. The renowned Botanical Gardens is on the outskirts Ventnor, accessible by a very pretty coastal path.
